Frequently asked questions

Please send your 3 case studies to;

Your case studies are your before and after photos of the treatment carried out. So altogether you will have 6 photos you need to send us which will equal 3 case studies.

How long do I have to complete my course?

You have 12 weeks to complete your course from the date of enrolment, if you would like more time to complete this we offer a 9-month extension on our website for £15.

What products should I use?

We have a product list within your manual of the products needed to complete your treatments. Which brands you choose to work with is of your own choice of your price range and how much you will be charging your clients is what you need to take into consideration when purchasing your supplies. Below are the lists of products you will need for your chosen course.

What should I avoid with Hard Gel nails?

You should avoid products with acetone because it will cause your acrylic nails to deteriorate. Acetone will also leave pits and make your nails soft. Aside from acetone, avoid anything that has the potential of damaging the hard gel.

I have applied hard gel nails to my client, however they are lifting and popping off after a couple of days, why is this?

The lifting of hard gel nails is mostly since the natural nail has not been prepared correctly. The lifting is hugely down to not applying primer/dehydrator to the natural nail. Make sure you apply a good primer to the nail before applying the hard gel, this will positively affect the duration of the hard gel.

Am I shown nail removal in my course?

There is not a video showing removal but there is a step by step on removal within the manual.
