When you wax, the entire hair shaft is removed, root and all, rather than cutting it off at the surface of the skin like you do when you shave. This leaves your skin super smooth with no stubble. Waxing also lasts much longer than shaving, and the hair grows back thinner and finer with repeated treatments. So, yes, waxing is better than shaving for longer lasting hair removal results.

In General, Yes! Although all of us have a different pain tolerance, so the level of discomfort will vary according to your clients threshold for pain. Most clients will experience a decrease in pain when they consistently wax over a period of time without shaving in between. However, please note that pain can be greatly minimised by ensuring the wax is at the correct temperature and ensuring an appropriate, strong stretch is present when removing the wax.

The answer to this question varies from person to person. We all have different rates of hair growth, and some body areas grow back more quickly than others. Your hair has various cycles of growth as well, so you want to make sure all of your clients hair is grown out prior to waxing, or else the hair that was not long enough to be removed will grow in a matter of days. For most people results will last from 3-7 weeks. 

Our hot wax course covers you to carry waxing on all body parts except intimate waxing. Body parts covered in your Kimberley Grace waxing course are as followed: Arms, Legs, Armpits, Lip, Brows, Face. Intimate waxing is not included, this means all waxing in the intimate area such as Hollywood, bikini line etc.

Warm wax is wax that sets on the clients skin and can be removed without a waxing strip. Hot wax is wax applied to the area and once applied a waxing strip is then set upon the wax with a rubbing motion and then removed using the correct removal process. 

Here at Kimberley Grace all of our courses are fully CPD accredited meaning you will walk away with a recognised CPD accreditation in waxing. This enables you to gain insurance from many insurance providers and carry this treatment out as a service. 

You have 6 months from the date you are enrolled to complete your course. If more time is required, you can purchase a course extension for the price of £49 which will give you a further 6 months to complete your course.
