Your case studies are before and after photos of your treatment, so altogether you should have 6 photos that equals to 3 case studies.

You have 12 weeks to complete your case studies for your course. The 12 weeks start from the first date of enrolment. If more time is needed then you can purchase a course extension for an additional £15, this will give you a further 9 months to complete your course.

Case studies are accepted on dolls heads, when purchasing our lash dollys we want you to get the most out of your money, so using these as much as possible for practising and for your case studies is great value for money! So the answer is YES!

How much glue are you using? Too much glue will be an issue as this could then stick together all your lashes and will take a long time to dry which can then make the lashes look clumpy.

Which glue are you using? Different glues have different drying times, when using a training glue these have a slower drying time so you will have to hold the lash in place for longer to let the lashes bond.

How are you applying the glue to the lash? When applying the glue be sure to swipe the lash into the glue and then try to swipe and place the lash onto the isolated natural lash this can give a securer bond.

Are your clients lashes clean? When your client is ready for her appointment be sure to have a look and brush through your clients’ natural lashes and have a look at them to be sure there is no adhesive from strip lashes on there lashes as this will make isolating difficult and the glue may not stick to this and if it does the lashes will not last as long.

Creating handmade fans is a difficult skill but with practise it is something that will come to you. If you try to pick up 3-4 lashes when creating a fan at first this will be easier as you can attach these to the client’s eye. The trick is to try to squeeze the base of the fan into the thinnest point using your finger and thumb before applying glue to then attach to the natural lash. Another thing to try also would be purchasing easy fans. These are great to try when first starting out to make your own fans as they stick to each other slightly so that you can make a fan easier as they do not fall apart. 

If you are struggling with isolation, you can use lash tape to tape up layers of lashes, this way you are left with more separated lashes which you can isolate easier using your tweezers to then isolate and lash. Lashes can be in layers which differs with every client, this is extremely helpful when doing an infill also. Then once you have taped and applied lashes to the different layers brush through your lashes and then be sure to go through them with your tweezers to check for any unlashed lashes. 

When the lashing the biggest thing to concentrate on is isolating your lashes, that way you can lash each lash as this is the way you can achieve the fullest sets in all lash styles. You can also create larger fans for a more fuller look.
